Here at Good News Farm you will find goats, poultry and horses. We have a long history of raising lots of different critters but Horses and goats have been our all time favorite species. We are a mother and daughter team and have found that it works fairly well for us. We both love animals and are both enablers so neither one of us says not to the other ( within reason of course ) when we want to add another mare or stud or doe to our herds. We use to have over a 175 head of goats between the two of us that were from the Boer, Nubian, Nigerian and Mini Nubian breeds. We now have it under 65 with several more Nigerians and a few Boers being for sale. We are refocusing the goats to a smaller herd so that we can start concentrating more on the first love of both our lives, HORSES. We raised Quarter Horses for many years (Colleen was involved in them for decades) but have found that the Miniatures are much easier to handle at this point in our lives and man are they intelligent little things. At this point we have a couple of pure Falabellas and several other AMHA & AMHR Minis.
