We were very blessed to be able to get this guy and his littermate sister ( Glimmer ) from Joan of Amberwood before she moved.   He is maturing quickly and improving as he grows.  I would like to see a little leveler top line but as it has already leveled out some in the last two months I am confident that this guy will not let me down.  Overall, this buck is very well put together.

Update: 3-31-09 This guy is big and has leveled out a lot I will get some photos as soon as I get him out of his winter jammies and into his summer wear.

Here is what Jen Tarlton ( breeder ) had to say about this gorgeous buck.
" Draco is a very tall long level buck that impressed me from the day he was born! This boy has very angular rear legs, wide flat hips, beautiful open ribbing, lots of loose dairy skin and good feet and legs.

This boy is about as sweet as they come and passes this gentile attitude on to his kids along with tremendous angulations and dairyness!  As a kid Draco was 7 X Jr. CH buck and one judge even hailed him as and I quote; "The nearly ideal buck!" Yeah I won't forget those words any time soon.
As a yearling he was the biggest buck in his large class of 23 and was also 1st place! Then went on to become the '04 All American Yearling Buck!  He also got an amazing LA score of 87 VEE. He was so large that the appraiser thought he was a two or three year old!
Now as a mature buck his show career has slowed due to moving a few times. Still as a two year old he walked away with three Res. Sr Grands! "

Jen said it all about this guy other then he just keeps getting better with time.  I would like to see longer ears but the rest of him more then makes up for that in my opinion.

Both Jen Talton and I had a buck that the other one wanted.  She now has my Kehilan Tigereye ( Nigerian ) and she allowed me to buy Draco.  I can not be more thankful that she allowed this stunning buck to come home with me and be a part of the Kehilan herd.  Thank you so much Jen.
Thank you Jen for the use of all your photos.

I took 1 of his Jr. daughters to a show this year and she waltzed out of the first ring with first, then went on to win Grand and BJDIS. Nativeflame can be seen on the Sr doe page.

Celtic Stars Gandalfs Talisman
Talisman has some big hoof prints to fill with two CH brothers, a CH sister, and a CH sire, I am confident that he is up to the task.  I got a little carried away taking photos of him so put several of them up.  He has a very easy going way about him and we used him heavily with the minis this last breeding season so that is where you will find his kids.  I hope to have time and the finances to show him this year.
Update 9 Aug 09:
Talisman went to his first show yesterday and was commended on his General Appearance and levelness over the top line, his half brother Black Falcon was in the same class and went on to take Best Buck in Show.
All of these photos were taken with Talisman tied to the hay stack in his normal very level stance.
These junior photos just don't do this buck justice.

I brought this buck home during the summer of 07 when he was just a young kid and the move from cold, wet WA. to Hot, Hot AZ did not work well for him.  We battled a long illness then gave him time to finish growing up.  I showed him over Memorial Day weekend in 2008 when he was just 14
months old and even though he had been slow to catch up to his growth and was still undersized, he made a good showing and received some nice comments from the judges.  Falcon went out again on 8 Aug 09 and man did he get noticed.  The judge said that this buck had everything going for him from his level top line both on the move and at rest, the width between the hocks, the height and width of the escutcheon as well as the smooth movement he showed as he moved around the ring.  He said that Falcon was an easy choice for the Grand and also for the BBIS.  I am so pleased that this sweet natured boy has not only inherited his sire's mellow temperament but his correct structure as well.
UPDATE:  9 Aug 2009
I have added Black Falcon and some new photos.
